2 Common Bites in Orthodontics

Orthodontic treatment requires careful, controlled movements of the teeth to ensure they are moving into proper positions. Orthodontics is so much more than the aesthetics of a beautiful straight smile. The definition of orthodontics is, “the treatment of irregularities in the teeth (especially of alignment and occlusion) and jaws, including the use of braces.” This includes your bite and jaw, which affects the way we speak to how we eat to our overall health. We have treated various different types of bites that require orthodontic treatment. In orthodontics, “bite” refers to the way the upper and lower teeth come together.
