Here are a few myths and the truth behind the most common misconceptions of orthodontics. Myth: I have braces, now I can't play sports.  Truth: Having braces, does not mean you have to stop living your life! As long as you wear a mouthguard, braces should not stop you or your child from playing your favorite sport.
